Designer Spotlight - Naomi Ding

Naomi is a Manchester based fashion designer, who graduated from (BA) fashion design and technology course at Manchester Metropolitan University. She runs running NAOMI DING FASHION DESIGN STUDIO at the moment, basic designing for clothes manufacturers and fashion companies in Hong Kong, China, and Singapore . She hopes to create her own brand very soon!!

Naomi’s collection S/S 2012 for the show is called the Germination. This collection used 100% organic fabrics and recycled leathers. The aim of the collection represented a natural,organic style with a luxury approach: “ time spent not money made,” which involved traditional hand crafting skills such as hand embroidery, hand dye fabrics and involved the latest technology too.
