Only 2 days until the End of Summer Fashion Show at Left Bank Leeds.

The show is supporting WaterAid, an international non governmental organisation. Their mission is to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world’s poorest communities.  They also work to influence policy at national and international levels on the provision of safe water.

The purpose of safe, clean water is to reduce poor sanitation and bad hygiene.  Poor water supplies can result in the contamination of water sources with millions of disease causing micro-organisms. These micro-organisms work in different ways to incapacitate infected individuals.

Better water supplies will particularly benefit children and those with HIV or chronic illnesses.  Find out more about Water Aid at http://www.wateraid.org
